  1. Hi all, just bought my first Jaguar 2 weeks ago, 07 plate S Type, it's been looked after very well, mostly Jaguar dealer stamps in the service book, A very low 76,000 miles, It's just a dream to drive. Already had lots of comments, nice car, lovely car, even had a merc driver tell me how nice a car it was. Hope to meet some of you at future meets. Dave in Yorkshire.

  2. Hi David, welcome aboard. I have had my S Type for 3 years and I love it as much now as I did when I bought it. It's an absolute dream to drive - a !Removed! cat around town and a beast on the open road ! Happy motoring, Chris.

  5. Hi All, new member here, I have owned my F-Type R 2018, Pearl white for a year and love it, I owned the v6 previously. I live near Plymouth and would be very interested to know of any Jaguar meets in the U.K. Not many F-Types in Devon or Cornwall.

  6. Have an 08 that was having similar issues. There ended up being a small split in one of the hoses, making it impossible to find when turned off. Three different shops, including Jaguar West Palm Beach misdiagnosed it. Was one of the smaller coolant hoses. Hopefully that helps.

  7. What colour is the engine oil? Check oil cap lid. If you have white waxy substance (emulsification), you may have Head Gasket problems.

  11. hi not to sure on the F-types, but on other cars with battery management the battery has to be programmed to the car, like on BMW's replacing the battery or disconnecting the battery, can result in the car wont start afterwards until the battery is registered to the car but Ive found out in a emergency, theres a sensor on the negative battery post that monitors battery charge and discharge, if this sensor is disconnected the car will start, but stop/start facility will be disabled, but ideal to get you home or to a garage very handy if the battery need to be charged or replaced, with out a proper garage doing it icarsoft LR V2 can register battries on these might not apply, but works on most stop/start cars cheers Joe
