Hi Paul, Here's the same area of my boot (2017 XF-S). Not much help with your question - I'm sorry, but I tried! However, I've always thought that Jaguar could have done a better job of hiding the "roof" of the boot in that area. Good luck with your quest (does the bolt rattle?) Cheers, Jon1 point
