  1. It is probably down to the power steering that scrubs those tyres. You should also try getting proper 4 wheel alignment from a quality tyre company as well.
  2. Hi Welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club John. Diesels should tow a caravan no problem. However, you may need to check with your dealer if the transmission needs a cooler. I am not too sure if one is needed or available, so worth checking. S-type is more refined but the X-type is still a nice car. The S-type is bigger as well. The X-type was a competitor to the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class as the S-type is more of a competitor for the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class and CLS-Class. As you are towing then you should be aware that the X-type comes in FWD and 4WD versions and the S-type is RWD Let us know how you get on :)
  3. Welcome to the Jaguar Owners Club Stephen!

  7. glad it's all sorted now John :)
  8. Hi Alister I did my own a few years ago with a friend who is a paint sprayer. Its all in the prep to be honest, sanding it down to a fine wet and dry paper. Taping up the bits you do not want to paint properly and under coating, then painting the wheel then laquered. You will need the paint code for the wheels from the dealer or off the net, I am not sure what the paint colour is to be honest. Make sure you spray them in a dust free and warm garage. Not sure the premade paints in a can will really do a nice job, i was lucky to have access to a proper spray gun.
