dhi and welcome to the club does the car have a tow bar? mine is fine over speed bumps so sounds like the shocks may need replacing or you could have a broken coil spring

I have used the AR6400-D on my S-type and it worked a treat. I kept getting engine light until i started using the additive. Since i stopped using it after 2 tanks i have had a light on but goes away after 5 starts I think another EGR valve me thinks. With your black smoke would it be DPF regeneration?

Vehicle age combined with higher bio-fuel content in today’s diesel fuels is making DPF regeneration more difficult. Saturated particulate filters risk being rendered inoperable with costly replacement and in some instances, additional recoding of the engine management system the only resolution. AR6500 will help prolong the life of the entire emission control system and combat the adverse effects of stop/start driving. Many members would have noticed the forums have been down for a considerable amount of time. This was due to major technical fault with the server. The technicians worked hard to get the server back up and running as quickly as possible. However, we are not out of hot water yet. We have found another problem with the servers operating system that was related to the first issue. We are able to use the server for the moment but it will require a new reload of the operating system. So we are going to plan to do this at the weekend and expect a good 3-4 hours downtime while we reload all the data back on to the server and re-configure. We hope this will solve all the issues which have been bugging us for a number of weeks. Our future plans are to move to a much more robust infrastructure which should illuminate any future failures. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
