  5. Oh. that's not to be bad then. Cheers
  6. I'm not sure if mine (some time ago) reset by doing this or just that it was a glitch at the time? - - - My 2011 3.0d Premium Luxury didn't remember the seat position. I kept attempting to get it to register, eventually holding down the memory button whilst turning on the ignition. The industry joke "have you tried switching it off and back on again" may have fixed it by rebooting? Either that or a glitch but there looks like there may be a number of us either with or had the same fault?
  7. I just read O.T.H. post above - I don't get It so i've obviously missed previous posts somewhere. Anyhow, I have recently upgraded my membership with JAC to a Premium member (and immediately got more than the cost of such back by using my discount card at Halfords)! I couldn't believe it and my local branch couldn't help me enough! If this thread was regarding a suspension of the card or something, it is obviously back to normal as mine was accepted with no problem???
  8. I did a search on the Jaguar website which came up with ZERO information regarding any recalls. I then did a simple google search which brought up several dealers that seem to have information regarding recalls - this cut and paste from the first one I saw http://repairpal.com/jaguar/xf/recalls Edit: I further read that the above is a US website. Rather than pasting lots of text relating to same I will just past this - Recall 16V373000. My first thoughts are that it might just be related to the US but as this is talking about injury or death, we should all be aware. I will be contacting Jaguar UK myself (my previous main dealership told me that there have been NO XF recalls for my car)! Regards Graham
  9. 2011 Jaguar XF 3.0 L D Premium Luxury (112,000 miles) - Had a slight squeak that sounded like O/S front wheel. Upon investigation we noted a bit of excess play on the O/S front wheel bearing so changed it anyway bearing in mind the mileage. The job went well. Have only travelled a couple of hundred miles and road noise is better so probably was correct diagnosis. However, today I heard what I think is the same squeak, only louder. If it is the same one, which is not constant, although usually squeaks for the first few bends. No ABS warning or any other for that matter! Once driven a few hundred yards it nearly always clears itself but I need to diagnose properly. Anything obvious come to mind? Any advice appreciated thanks?
  10. Hi Malcolm and Peter. I don't have many pictures but I have managed to find one and attached to show the colour. My XF is a year 2011 3.0l D Premium Luxury in Claret Red. I have owned it for almost 2 years and love it to bits! It is (or was, a high mileage purchase at 111,000 miles) although as I only do around 3000 miles per year it will soon become an "average mileage" car! I had the cambelt replaced via Hatfield Jaguar Hull as soon as I bought it as well as the scheduled service (I had actioned the cost within my purchase/haggle so wasn't such a shock)! Lots to talk about in another post shortly. Regards Graham
  11. Hello, I have owned my Jag for almost two years. Looking forward to communicating. Regards Graham
