FEARLESS. EXUBERANT. COMPELLING. THIS IS JAGUAR, REIMAGINED
Jaguar Owners Club posted an article in News & Articles
A new era begins today for Jaguar. A completely transformed Jaguar brand recaptures an ethos to Copy Nothing that can trace its roots back to the words of its founder, Sir William Lyons "Jaguar’s transformation is defined by Exuberant Modernism, a creative philosophy that underpins all aspects of the new Jaguar brand world. It embraces bold designs, unexpected and original thinking, creating a brand character that will command attention through fearless creativity. Jaguar has its roots in originality. Sir William Lyons, our founder, believed that ‘A Jaguar should be a copy of nothing’. Our vision for Jaguar today is informed by this philosophy. New Jaguar is a brand built around Exuberant Modernism. It is imaginative, bold and artistic at every touchpoint. It is unique and fearless. This is a reimagining that recaptures the essence of Jaguar, returning it to the values that once made it so loved, but making it relevant for a contemporary audience. We are creating Jaguar for the future, restoring its status as a brand that enriches the lives of our clients and the Jaguar community." Professor Gerry McGovern OBE. Chief Creative Officer Symbols of change – Jaguar’s new brand identity The reimagined Jaguar begins its unveiling today with an all‑new brand identity that establishes its unique character, through a dramatic new visual language. Meaning is embedded in each of the four symbols of change, reflecting brand values and providing clues for what is to come. Device Mark Jaguar’s new device mark is its signature. It is a powerful celebration of modernism – geometric form, symmetry and simplicity – demonstrating the unexpected by seamlessly blending upper and lowercase characters in visual harmony. Strikethrough This bold linear graphic generates an unmistakeable presence and an immediately recognisable visual for Jaguar, striking through imitation and the ordinary. Exuberant Colours Exuberant use of colour is a cornerstone of Jaguar’s new brand identity, embedded in its values and its association with art. Primary colours, born from the painter’s palette – yellow, red and blue – are the tonal building blocks, always presented with texture or movement. Makers Marks Consisting of the newly reimagined Jaguar ‘leaper’ that is our precious mark of provenance. Always leaping forward, it is a representation of excellence and hallmark of the brand. The monogram is a code for expression and a signifier of a completed work. It is used as a flourish or finishing touch. Copy Nothing On 2 December 2024, 20:00hrs (U.S. EST), at Miami Art Week, Jaguar will present “Copy Nothing”, the first global public installation for its new brand that will include the physical manifestation of its Exuberant Modernism creative philosophy, in a Design Vision Concept. This dramatic, unmistakable and unexpected expression of what it means to Copy Nothing will be a preview of the fearless approach to come from Jaguar. Jaguar’s presence in Miami will establish its advocacy for artistic expression, in all its forms. Through a series of meticulously curated gallery spaces over two locations, Jaguar will share its platform with new and ground‑breaking emerging artists who share its ethos of Copy Nothing. "To bring back such a globally renowned brand we had to be fearless. Jaguar was always at its best when challenging convention. That ethos is seen in our new brand identity today and will be further revealed over the coming months. This is a complete reset. Jaguar is transformed to reclaim its originality and inspire a new generation. I am excited for the world to finally see Jaguar." I believe they have also ceased production in the US as well as other global markets. Very strange times indeed! The saying 'all your eggs in one basket' comes to mind with Jaguar (and many other manufacturers) with the sole production of Electric Vehicles. Interesting article from BMW who are currently voicing their opposition to the proposed ICE ban https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/bmw-ceo-says-energy-raw-material-prices-remain-high-2022-04-14/ -
Jaguar will end all new UK sales in November meaning no new cars will be available from the firm until its electric revival starts in 2026. https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-news/industry-news/jaguar/f-pace-production-ends/ Article source: Car Magazine - Ted Welford Published: 1st November 2024

A fantastic period piece featuring the iconic E-Type Jaguar (well what else are you going to use in a road movie). This fantastic film produced by Pirelli using an e-type (XKE) Jaguar to demonstrate their range of Cinturato Tires. By the time this film was made the Pirelli Cinturato range had already been available for over a decade.Pirelli’s Cinturato range of tires dramatically changed people’s perception of how good tires could be. They improved the handling of cars like an e-type Jaguar, when fitted with these progressive sports car tires. https://www.cinturato.net/tortoise-and-hare.html?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR2gKn11c8-xaXDe3CsA4XlIcw6wMfdGqFki-z6VEGXrpr_u8USMJdKjVm8_aem_qOpi8lKqwyFk5IjgbhXVWw

It's certainly getting to the age where you will see a decline in numbers with owners scrapping or breaking the car. As it's neither too new or too old, it is in a limbo stage to become a classic, as yet....however, if you've had the foresight to acquire one then it's worth hanging onto and keeping in tip-top condition to further increase its value as it becomes even rarer over time Feel free to post up some pics of it if you would like to?

Hi Neil....welcome to the Club As long as its Jaguar related you're welcome to post in the forums 🙂 Used to be the in-thing to strap a Jaguar IRS to the back end of custom cars back in the 70's and 80's very versatile and easy to fit as in a subframe and could huge amounts of power through the axle -
Hi Dave....welcome to the Club Good to hear you're enjoying the Jaguar experience and long may it continue

HI Stephen....welcome to the Club I would start by connecting a battery conditioner (not just a charger but a smart conditioner which will restore the battery) or alternatively just replace the battery. Check and inflate the tyre pressures and also check the tyre condition for perishing and cracks. Check (and replace if necessary) the engine oil and other fluid levels Turn the engine over but do not necessarily start it immediately, e.g. if diesel then turn it over before the glow plugs kick in so that the engine is turning freely for a while to get the oil pressure up. If petrol engine, then disconnect the ignition coil electrical connections or fuel injector connectors. Ensure the brakes are not seized on and if so then gradually driving backwards and forwards until they release may work. Good luck and let us know how you get on with it all

Jaguar is commemorating the end of its internal combustion sports car lineage in 2024 with an exclusive limited-edition F-TYPE inspired by two iconic 1960s racing E-types Just 150 examples of the F-TYPE ZP Edition will be the last internal combustion-engined sports cars designed by Jaguar. These 575PS supercharged petrol V8 F-TYPEs feature specially curated interior and exterior details by the personalisation experts at SV Bespoke. "As Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports car provenance. F-TYPE has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-type did five decades before it. The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition." RAWDON GLOVER - MANAGING DIRECTOR, JAGUAR Two F-TYPE ZP Edition colourways are available, recalling the first race-winning ‘Project ZP’ E-types campaigned shortly after the model’s launch in 1961: Oulton Blue Gloss paint with Mars Red and Ebony duotone leather interior, or Crystal Grey Gloss paint with Navy Blue and Ebony duotone leather interior. Both feature Porcelain White Gloss hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors and Porcelain White Gloss grille surrounds. Neither exterior paint colour has been offered on F-TYPE before. These colours match the two specially formulated paints created for seven pairs of E-type Project ZP Collection cars announced by Jaguar Classic earlier this year: https://media.jaguar.com/news/2023/06/jaguar-classic-unveils-tribute-first-e-type-race-wins-e-type-zp-collection. Unique interiors with horizontal seat fluting, plus Gloss Black exterior accents and Gloss Black brake calipers, complement exclusive F-TYPE ZP Edition branding details on the fenders, Gloss Black Diamond Turned 20-inch forged alloy wheels, tread plates and dashboard. Each car features a ‘One of 150’ SV Bespoke commissioning plaque. Ever since earning accolades including 2013 World Car Design of the Year, F-TYPE has continued to set the benchmark for truly involving, engaging, driver-focused sports cars, with a distinctive V8 soundtrack. The exhaust note is so iconic it is archived in institutions including the British Library. The F-TYPE ZP Edition is available in both Coupé and Convertible body styles. With 575PS, 700Nm of torque and an all-wheel drive system with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) technology, performance is exceptional on all surfaces and in all weathers: 0-60mph takes as little as 3.5 seconds, while top speed is an electronically-limited 186mph.
