  1. Hi Steven....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard
  2. Had to replace a servo on diesel S-Type once before as was corroded and leaking pressure. Fitted another one (later type as used on XF) and worked fine. However, there is a actuating pushrod between the brake pedal and the servo which I believe it adjustable so if the replacment one is not set correctly then this could be the issue. Would necessitate removal of the brake pedal pushrod (from the underside of the dashboard) and making an adjustment to the length which would release the hydraulic pressure off the braking system.
  3. I have featured this post to hopefully get some responses from the members....good luck with your research

  6. The VIN is usually stamped on the bulkhead in the engine bay (also believe there should be a plate there aswell?)
  7. Where is this being held in Wiltshire, Brian?

  10. Hi Rich.....welcome to the Club The XF-R is a superb machine and from previous posts in the forums I know that the owners of these fine cars are very passionate about them. Best to trawl through the site (use the search bar at the top right of the screen) and see what info you can find about this particular model. Good to have you onboard!

  17. Hi Andy So hard to say at the moment with all that is going on in the world but needless to say I am personally chomping at the bit to attend as many shows and events as possible. Feel free to make some suggestions and we can run with it. Usual events would be SImply Jaguar at Beaulieu and other major Jaguar events throughout the country where we can gain attendance as a club if the numbers are high enough
  18. Sounds like the perfect time of the year for one last road trip before winter
  19. Hi Don....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard!
  20. Hi Shane Yes, replacing the inline suppression choke would work but you can also get an external one which overlays the wiring and shields it from interference. When I bought a Nextbase Dashcam I'm sure it came with a carbon suppressor choke Good luck with it and let us know how you get on
