  1. Hi Steve....and welcome to the club !
  2. Hi Andrew....and welcome to the club !
  3. Hi Carl....and welcome to the club !
  4. Remove the four bolts that hold the rack to the subframe, it will then swing out of the way and the lower bolt can then be removed, no need to undo any pipes. Go careful with the bolts however as they can sometimes seize (steel bolts, alloy subframe)
  5. Hi Dan and welcome to the club XJ12...what a great car...fantastic engine as well, they go on forever! Regards Trevor
  6. worth checking the coolant temperature sensor to see if the wire is off or the sensor damaged. If you have access to a scanner it would be easy to see what the sensor is doing on warm up
  7. If its at the top then it could be strut top mounts....jack up the vehicle slightly (wheel just off the ground), put a long bar under the wheel and rock up and down to see if the noise is there. Probably all the speed humps that have caused it !
  8. Sell the house Trevor and get the Jag !
  9. Hi Simon...and welcome to the club ! I too have owned Rovers in the past...in fact still have an MG ZT in my garage (non runner!). Rovers are great cars overall but they were never destined to set the world on fire. Glad to hear you have now defected to Jaguar Regards Trevor
