I had to replace the driver side outside door handle. Got it done at a dealer. Cost me $500.00 for parts and labor. They wouldnt guarantee their work. They said it is an inherent high failure item. 2 years later that one popped again! Shortly thereafter the passenger side front door handle popped. I couldnt find any other reasonable solution in going to a dealer and paying $1000.00 for both doors. I went on eBay and found a pair. I need to get them installed am trying to find a reputable mechanic for a reasonable price. Ay suggestions on the issue of the door handles failure?
