Hi Peter, I want to get the airbag light off. The centre rear belt works fine mechanically but the light being on is an MOT fail. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi Trevor,
I have never personally come across this before, bit I would plug in my OBD2 code reader and see what that brings up.
If that is unsuccessful and produces nothing I would be inclined to do a cursory check on electrical connections and if nothing appears faulty I would suggest a visit to a good garage who could do the diagnostics and electrical check.

Thanks Peter. I'll start trying to trace the wiring from the centre rear seatbelt pre -tensioner to the Restrain Control Module to see if there are any bad connections.
