I have the CTEK MXS10, but it was really a bit of an overkill bought at a time when I knew little about them. I think that most go for the MXS5, which will do the job perfectly well.

Welcome to the Club Michael! I keep my XK on a CTEK battery conditioner when it is not used for a week or two. This keeps the battery fully charged, but will not overcharge, so can be left on indefinitely. I leave mine on charge for a couple of months at a time when we are away in New Zealand. I have a comfort lead permanently attached to the battery, with a connector in the tailgate, and run the mains lead through the corner of the tailgate, which can easily be closed over it without causing any damage. I have been doing that for the last six years without any problem at all. Hope this helps!
