Hello all, belated Happy New Year. I am thinking that the transmission oil in my 2013 XK should be changed - the car has done 53000 miles and obviously is 12 years old ( as is the transmission oil). The owners manual does not address transmission oil at all and i have seen in online research that Jaguar says that the transmission oil is in the transmission for life. All that heating up and cooling down plus the stresses and strains of the mechanical operation in the gearbox over the years causes me to think that the oil may be past it;s best and makes me uneasy. What is the conventional wisdom on this please. Best, Don

Hello Jim & Graham - many thanks for your comments about updated DVD discs for the XK, much appreciated. I have installed the latest updates on my TomTom and will use that on my trip to Spain - It's a bit sad I think that Jaguar have not seen fit to have updates available for their Navigation System, my car is only 11 years old for goodness sake.

Has there been any progress in the availability of an updated navigation DVD disc for (in my case a 2013 XK) - I'm about to tak my car to Spain and am anxious I don't end up lost because my Sat Nav has 2013/14 maps? Thanks Don

The aircon compressor on my 1995 XJS convertible has stopped working and I need to replace it. I cannot see any info on the existing unit at all, can anyone tell me which model compressor I need and where to get one from (without taking out a mortgage). Also I'm told there is an inline fuse in the power line to the aircon relay - does anyone know where it will be located as I cannot find it. Many thanks Don
