  1. Thanks for the welcome Peter. Are you suggesting it was a known problem? I know they changed the style in 2004. Wouldn't be without the old girl (or the Jag!). She only comes out when there isn't any danger of salt on the roads. She likes doing weddings for friends. Trouble is not sure how much longer I can get in and out of the driver's seat.
  2. Here is the sorry mess. When I managed to dig the bulb out I couldn't see any markings to indicate wattage. It's a mystery!
  3. Hello Joe No idea. Wouldn't have thought so, I haven't uprated them and I can't imagine the original owner would have done but I'll check on the bulb tomorrow if I can get it out of the molten mess! Tony
  4. Have had to replace a broken fog light on my 2000 S-type. I've probably only switched them on a couple of times in the 15 years I've owned the car. But was amazed to discover the bulb housing had melted onto the bulb. Not only on the broken one, but also on the other side as well. Has anyone else come across this 'feature'?
