  1. I know that I am getting away from the subject slightly but I recently asked a girl(rich girl)about how she picked out a new car.She replied....she stands infront of the new potential car and looks at it.Every car has a face,I.e.headlamps are eyes and the grill is the mouth. She told me that there are many different types of cars, she looks at the face of the car,she likes happy faces, she likes the happy face of a volkswagen beetle, but prefers the smiling face of my xjs
  2. Just a short note about speed humps, why were they invented?Yes indeed to slow down traffic,e.g.boy racers doing 80 mph in a housing estate.I recently damaged my jag at 10 mph.because the hump was too high.If a boy racer hit the same hump at 80mph,he would be killed,or maybe loose control and plough into a few pedersrians.Surely there should be a legal height to such humps, just high enough to slow down traffic,i.e.give you a fright, not a shock.Boy racers are not all bad, they love their cars, the same cars usually have limited ground clearance,so even a small hump will slow them down, why have 8 inch speed humps, just imagine a pensioner in a electric wheelchair doing 2 m.p.h.hitting a 8 inch hump, yes the wheelchair would turn over,I come over the speed hump next doing 10 mph and run over the pensioner,I get out of the car to help, and a boy racer hits the hump at 80 and kills us all! I rest my case

  5. as a fellow smoker and a jag owner, why not make a rule not to smoke in your nice new jag?I take smoke breaks, pull in and have a puff outside the car,I dont value my health much, but I love my jag!At first a little bit difficult, but the rewards of having a tar free jag are fantastic, the smell of real hide etc.But if all fails I would be more than willing to manafacture you a pipe holder, just send me a drawing of what you require, and we will make it,f.o.c.But we may require one of your pipes as a template

  7. hi ,I have just completed form for the Jaguar factory tour.Myself and one passanger would like to attend this tour,we would be travelling from Ireland...(actually a large amount of Jag fans in our country..)When booking I failed to change the number from 1 to 2,so filled in two seperate forms for one person only.I would just like to confirm that myself and my co-driver would very much like to attend. We are a little bit worried about payment if selected,as most of my transactions abroad are by Visa card,we do not use Pay Pal.If we are fortunate enough as to be selected,we can send a bank draft well in advance,or maybe you may have other suggestions re.payment?I would also like to thank all the people who run this club, all your hard work !please ring 053 94 21319 (you will have to affix irish code)if you want to contact me....yours etc.
