  1. Hi Robert Replacing the crossover valve was £247.60, incl. parts & labour. The Manifold Induction kit was £1331.83, parts & labour (ouch!). But, hey-ho, it's a lovely drive! Cheers, Jon
  2. Hi Robert, I've just been through an almost identical experience with my 2011 XF-S. I don't have a code reader, so can't confirm the exact codes involved, but the effect was similar to what you describe. End result was a new turbo valve, followed by a new cam cover and gasket set, all fitted by my local(ish) independent dealer. Now runs better than ever! MOT on Monday though - eek! Good luck! Jon
  3. Thanks John, Jury is still out! J
  4. HI, Does anyone on here have any experience of a company called WarrantyWise, offering to pay for repairs (up to about £5000 a claim) for a monthly premium - £58 per month according to the quote I have? Haven't gone for it yet (wish I had, currently getting replacement turbo valve, cam cover, etc., and a DPF regen!) Basically, is it worth it? Cheers, Jon
  5. Thanks Clive, Beyond me, but I'll talk to my local indy dealer! Thanks again! J
  6. Hi All, My 2011 XF-S has developed a problem... Screen displays Limited Performance Diagnostic check shows 2 faults... P006A - Manifold Absolute Pressure P1247 - Turbocharger Boost Pressure Low Any thoughts on what is needed to fix it gratefully received! Local Indy dealer (where I bought it from) suggests a central turbo valve needs replacing. Any insight gratefully received! Cheers, Jon
  7. Hi Lee, I have a 2011 XF-S (3.0L, Portfolio spec). I can't help with your lack of DAB radio, but there have been a few threads on here discussing such upgrades. As for USB ports, there should be 2 in the storage area under the centre armrest. SatNav upgrades... The DVD drive for the satnav is in the boot, on the nearside. I got a DVD from www.latestsatnav.co.uk, worked perfectly! Cost: £29.99 Sorry about the DAB, but I hope the rest of the above helps. Cheers Jon
