Hi Paul, Can't say anything about Woodford, I'm across the other side of the country, not far from Hereford, I take the garage was a Jag dealership - I hope they've sorted the problem for you, let us know how you get on. I'll have my 90k service either at the end of the year or start of next, not sure whether to stick with the dealers or go independent......... Best regards, Dave

I must admit I have to side with Stan here, I've only been with the forum for a few months but am amazed at the number of views a post gets but next to no replies. I do appreciate that most people here don't have a mechanical knowledge to put the car right but I dare say there is a wealth of information which could be shared, even if knowledge is pulled together over a number of post.....? -

Welcome to the club Searay 200. I bought an 04 S-Type earlier this year, 79k on the clock, I'm very happy with it and see it being in the family for at least three or four years - or until the price of petrol goes beyond the £2.00 per litre mark, well it is a V8 Sport :D Best regards, Dave

Fuel Economy… Whats Your MPG figures?

Since this post a couple of months back, I've been monitoring the mpg and have been returning an average of 26.5 mpg, but must admit I've been driving a lot harder than the first couple of months of ownership. In addition I think the 31 mpg quited above may have been recorded from the "instant mpg" on a particular lean trip instead of usage of a full tank. :( Dave
