  1. Plenty available on eBay, if you’re lucky you may find them in the right colour also.
  2. If petrol then you really need to check the fuel pressure at the Schroeder valve before the rail. Fuel filter also should be checked.
  3. You’re very welcome, hope you get it fixed.
  4. May not be possible if it’s an insurance job.
  5. Make sure both fobs have new batteries and only use quality batteries like Duracell.
  6. Hi Barry, This thread has info and a picture that should help. https://www.jaginfo.org/threads/wiring-a-front-heated-screen.92441/
  7. This thread will give more information on the problem. https://www.jaginfo.org/threads/xf-owners-beware-water-ingress-into-cjb.111034/
  8. Welcome to the forum Geoff, enjoy.😊
  9. Welcome to the forum, Phil. Some had a obvious switch in the centre of the panel others you simply press and it should open.
  10. If you have a code reader, try resetting it or take the car for a drive. If it still doesn’t reset then further investigation is required.
  11. It lives under the passenger side bonnet airbag, this thread has some info on where and how to remove it. https://www.jaguarforum.com/threads/battery-backed-alarm-sounder-on-2009-xf.137906/#post-1508667
  12. There are 2 wear sensors, front left and right rear. Did you change the correct one? Check the connectors on both corners.
  13. These are the ones I bought, David. All solid, fit perfectly and still look good today with no signs of rusting. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20x-ALLO...rentrq:731334ab16d0a4b7b67e7f6dff7a4b99|iid:1
  14. Excellent news and thanks for the update.🤙
  15. Fuse F16 40A feeding through relay RLY 11 in the engine junction box. If there is power going through then check the LH connector, probably in the ‘A’ post.
  16. By all means have the battery tested though I would also be having the alternator looked at.
  17. No need to remove the battery for charging. Connect the CTEK to the positive of the battery and the negative to a ground point and you’ll be perfectly ok.
  18. Here you go, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEFT-HEADLIGHT-ASSEMBLY-LJA4503AG-Jaguar-XK8-XKR-X100-1996-2006-0577/404010537754?var=0&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338343596&toolid=10001&customid=eb:g:vms:eb:p:404010537754;EAIaIQobChMIl6bxp7fq-wIVUtDtCh18SwwREAQYBiABEgJWjvD_BwE&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl6bxp7fq-wIVUtDtCh18SwwREAQYBiABEgJWjvD_BwE&pageci=f47d98cb-157e-467d-8fd5-4ba51ff32ea3&redirect=mobile
  19. This may be of interest and indeed help, https://www.jaginfo.org/threads/xf-owners-beware-water-ingress-into-cjb.111034/ Worth a read just in case.
  20. Here you go, http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Electrical/Elect-Tech All2/2012 XF - X250Comp.pdf
  21. On your car, positive to the battery terminal and negative to a suitable ground point.
  22. That question I cannot answer unfortunately. I would hazard a guess at the bottom of the ‘A’ pillars inside the car.
  23. The relays may well be the soldered in type below the grill in your picture. If you’ve found the fuses, switch them on and check for power at the fuses.
  24. Right side is relay R13, fuse F7 40A and left side is relay R3, fuse F32 40A, both in the engine fuse box.
  25. I see nothing on the drawings to suggest there is a light around the ignition barrel.
