  1. Glad everything is ok John.👍
  2. This might help, https://www.jaguarforum.com/threads/jaguar-xf-x260-pollen-cabin-filter-replacement.105544/
  3. Check the drains in the corners of the windscreen, also check the pollen filter. Then as above, get an aircon bomb and let that off.
  4. If you do have an air leak, which is very possibly the cause of your problem, then having a smoke test done will show where the leak is. Failing that, removing the airbox back to the throttle body and carefully checking the joints and pipes may show up a potential leak.
  5. Do not go directly to the battery, you will upset the battery monitoring system (BMS). You can however connect to the positive of the battery and a nearby ground point or use the terminals under the bonnet.
  6. Press the volume button and it will switch off. Or change from CD to radio and the CD will stop playing.
  7. Most likely the tank itself. Just get a new one. https://www.berkshirejagcomponents.com/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=18744192&AccID=117155&PGFLngID=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp6msrN-G8wIVD7btCh362wLpEAQYBCABEgLTQPD_BwE
  8. Have a look, https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Windscreen-Washer-Pumps-for-Jaguar-XF-Sportbrake/174112/bn_7013578852
  9. First, make sure the passenger side is in the folded position then simply push the drivers side to the folded position. Now unfold electrically and they should work together.
  10. Ok Brian no probs, good luck with your search.🙂
  11. This is the only other one I could find. Looks similar. https://www.berkshirejagcomponents.com/x300-air-condition-condenser-radiator-mna7390aa-c2x18576553
  12. Try here, https://www.britishparts.co.uk/classic-jaguar-c4707/jaguar-x300-xj-xjr-c12/cooling-heating-c51/ac-condenser-p1637
  13. Could be a sign that the small battery requires changing. A code reader may give you a better idea of what’s going on.
  14. Have a look here, https://www.onlineautomotive.co.uk/car-parts/Jaguar/X-Type/2.2L/Diesel/Shaftec/Transmission/Driveshafts/JA100R/1/531?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6cnj_Z_t8gIVrIFQBh0gXQ8xEAQYAiABEgKLUvD_BwE I just typed in your thread title on google.
  15. There is one underneath the seat, check there first. This thread has more info, pictures and tools required. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/cooled-seat-back-diy-failed-fan-filter-replacement-151676/
  16. Hi Bill, Just because a battery is new it’s no indication of how good it really is. I would charge the battery overnight and then see what happens. The fact that these faults disappear when you restart the car indicates 2 things, you don’t have any faults and does indeed point to a low voltage in the first instance. If you still have the warnings after a full charge then your next avenue is to get the codes read.
  17. Plenty of free info and manuals available here, http://www.jagrepair.com/JaguarXJSElectricalOBDIIcodes.htm If you want a hard copy then there is a few available on the eBay, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XJS-OWNERS-MANUAL-HANDBOOK-FOLDER-XJ-S-XJ-SC-3-6-Mk2-SERIES-II-1981-1991-/124775765394?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338268676&toolid=10044&customid=EAIaIQobChMI-q2Z2v_f8gIVi-d3Ch3P_wQ1EAQYAyABEgLZy_D_BwE
  18. Here’s a set, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255115375338?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item3b660fb2ea:g:868AAOSwZt1hLUKC&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAACgPYe5NmHp%2B2JMhMi7yxGiTJkPrKr5t53CooMSQt2orsSeg1Ad1f9161DldjYGbgJeZ7aIv3XE2UK6NqWtXplb4G5LiW%2Fu%2BKac7kAnYbxwWdxy%2FIRo23jJTGSzF4%2FoPPz0MNej7%2BAxvkG3S74h8kXlG1idYINKFKbhQLr83K0mTBRHt6WaJJd3rlp4rt0FjEOVJua%2F%2BUvPu8LdUEV%2B1wzDPY6bcVQjNOLngjKxgLRxvh%2BKKRTDCbYuDBXuNNZNLMvB3a47Zq%2Bxzm8LbZlOjS4dnpMXYvVG9tmtbkohK04jcJDZ8GgtUlKrY6t00TgSFq2B1RYv8tXWVZsJcnQXD%2By%2BYYdo1zavZXhCGHOGa3Sk9raz7nQ2h%2FjLFg5tV3FNWYdhshrVIG60v8bGcUXOFOOVXvCiG5OYpJBUh4%2FH%2Flr28IpRzhQypsh%2FoAEmFdM%2B3d2xT4xF70l7ioq6vFbYDccRtBEmpGhbWRNGqhmgIDPb%2FRbG8CqesVj9VzkGLvjEfzIz%2FluSNpqdV06Lc3uS3hW3IGRKxGd3rHYq8977R%2BhbXXBBm2aSI%2FYrH35NtqXQ6Hgnsoo7Y%2BB%2FvFjo5sp9X4yKTF7GLPgjBrFvpcapmR7NaLl5hRwjo0NtIGsYlsY%2BXF%2FlyJ0HDbM9Fu3wmwxznNWJi2c80cyaThf2hdq1nyyRBkdQZkC0%2Fe3LXHHdjq5SJeIBhJ1CiLdzyVjVrkUA6MQaxbQgLGLo15ebuMqpknfU%2Fq0ATzMH9E2rVjPMSQkd%2FofEJWnPKhUSpqsI0fxbb0DTc25BTxRIV5oSGHpURGaE7cfh2Yu42auMqZ7ToB5NVS9VcwqyNjHGCpnY3xdmkuBPKE%3D|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2499334
  19. Hi David, the button flashing is because there is a fault within the system. A code reader will help point you in the right direction as to what has gone wrong. You could check the module is clean and dry and also the connectors.
  20. The first thing to do is get the system tested to see if there is any leaks. If no leaks are detected then the correct amount of refrigerant with oil can then be introduced into the system. Should you still have the problem after refilling then the next thing on the list will be the DCCV as it’s probably stuck.
  21. Either that or the regulator but you won’t know until you get the door card off.
