  1. Glad you got sorted & hope you get home ok with no more issues. I had already had another look and found the part number on the side, BC3Q - 9F479 - AD My sensor was pretty blocked with crap from the EGR, so gave it a clean with electrical contact cleaner.
  2. I think this is it, but I am not sure this is its actual JLR part number - 66506GH. Sorry cant see any other markings on it, its small. If this is the wrong bit, say where it is and I will go look.
  3. In case it helps any1 else. in an x260 3v6D The Glow plug control module sits under the right side airbox housing. The picture below shows the module after removing the airbox. That pipe makes it unlikely for the module to be removed up through the engine bay, i tried but just not enough wiggle room. I think its best to remove the airbox, unscrew the module, unplug the cables and drop it to the ground at the wheel arch liner. Then reverse to fit now module.
  4. Thanks Thorleif, looks similar relative location as the image I posted. Had another look and pretty sure I have located it. The image I posted is correct, but its directly under the drivers side air box/filter, you can see the edge of it under the airbox and between the airbox and driver's side front wing. From underneath it sits between the right side radiator and the wheel arch liner you can see it through the front slots in the wheel arch liner or from under as seen below in the second picture. Seems a bit of a stupid place to put this, given how small it is and how much space available in the engine bay. So to access & replace its either - Remove the right/drivers side air box/filter housing or Remove the wheel and wheel arch liner. Pics below top down, its
  5. Found this. Its from the X260 workshop manual this is for the 3v6D. Although I had a quick look and cant see it, will need to look when i have more time.
  6. HI AussieScot, did you locate the relay? My x260 also 2016 3.0D started taking a bit longer to start last couple of weeks. Have received and cleared the error code 'P052F' (Glow plug control module - voltage malfunction) a couple of times. If any1 can spare me some time with the location and part number that would be appreciated!
  7. I had a similar issue, my MY17 does not have a rear key barrel, I also checked behind the number plate. I got access via rear seats, open and pull down center panel, reach in and un clip rear seat release, pull down rear seats and in you go. I had disconnected my battery, then stupidly closed the boot 😞
  8. My car is 4 years old and only done 35kmiles and just had the S1 service listed below. i went for the 3+ age plan, I am happy with the monthly cost, also it does help with future value if it has main dealer service history. It doesn't include the timing service, but I will cover that at the time.
  9. in case it helps anyone else in the future, this is what they did.
  10. This is now fixed. Was booked in with the dealer today £120 for a Vehicle Shared Secrets (VSS) routine. Live now working and I can now log into the Navigation and update the maps
  11. "Barnard Castle" 😅 Thanks that is interesting. I purchased the car over 5 months ago and its had this issue since. Jag support advised I get it booked in for a Vehicle Shared Secret (VSS) routine. So it is booked into Jaguar Glasgow Taggart's tomorrow.
  12. Got in through the back seats. Ok to be more open, when i said flat battery i really should have said disconnected battery. Yes i disconnected it to see if that would help with my live and navigation account not working. Closed the boot as here in the glasgow area an open boot soon fills with water. I wrongly assumed there would be a key whole at the back.. there defo is not. Thanks for your suggestion
  13. Thanks, Yeah I check behind the plate already nothing there. Good shout on connecting to under the bonnet terminals, will give that a try. Surely there must be somewhere to manually open the boot.
  14. Thanks for the reply, yes that is where I tried, it just says something like live not available.
  15. Does anyone know where the key access is on an X260 if the battery was flat? It seems that on the pre facelift there was a cover next to the boot button, but i cant see that on an x260.
