  3. Hiya Tim unless your car is a R you don’t have to remove the bumper and the ped sensors can be accessed from the top ,that said if it is an R the sensors can be accessed by removing the front most under tray , you will probably find that these sensors are more problematic during the summer season (temperature) however they appear to have a life span of approx 10 years never knew that you can have a height adjustable spring/standard front strut arrangement other than coil overs are you sure it isn’t the headlights levelling sensor?
  4. Mine are fitted permanently and in the event of having to use the space saver will just remove the spacer as I don’t have Alcons fitted ☹️ I just can’t see myself driving along with a spacer fitted🤮particularly on the rear ,I would probably have the tyre replaced at the roadside as the majority of rapid deflation’s destroy the tyre before you have a chance to stop
  5. They look pretty much the same part from the lack of tapered stud holes in your picture ,
  6. Sorry Steve H&R I think it is more to do with design than material aspects
  7. I have H&H centric spacers fitted to mine that have a warning not to use with steel wheels (space savers )
  8. Hiya Steve 🤝 What’s this about a 7mm spacer ?
  9. If the battery has been run down extremely low there is good chance that it’s scrap material now
  10. Hiya Aubrey the glow plugs are only used on start up so irrelevant to normal running,
  11. Hiya John if you consider £750 as excessive what price would you consider reasonable? what work needs doing in order to comply with the service schedule?
  12. Welcome to the forum Barry 👋 based on my and other XK owners experiences you are probably a bit optimistic in the navigation expectations You will probably spent days just trying to get it to work in a coherent manner 😂
  13. Only just seen the the spam warning, having just got back from having s*x with a nice chick in her new Jaguar 😳
  14. 👍
  15. Hiya rob if your car has the hydro/ electric power steering it could be a sign that the battery is failing ,suggest start and run for 10 minutes that restart
  16. Oswald your problem could be the steering sensor (steering angle ) this works in line with the traction control & the perceived position of the steering ( it also cancels the abs )
  17. As previously mentioned the auto fold was always available if the person that ordered it gave Jaguar £300 for the privilege
  18. Jack when you double lock does it give of a chirp sound ?
