Hi All I have just become a member of your new club as I have bought a 2005 Jaguar XJ6 2.7TDVI Sovereign. I was looking so forward to ownintg my new Jaguar as from a young child I have always dreamed of owning one. Now that I was in a position to finnaly have one, I have got problems with it in less than 2 weeks, really dis heartened as this was new pride and joy although my wife would suggest that I love my new Jaguar more than her now, hehehhe. The bluetooth telephone system was working ok when i bought the car and was receiving and making calls exactly how it should. Now when i press the telephone button a message appears and says this function is not available. after i leave the car off for around 15mins or so the telephone function comes back. This time my iphone says it is connected but the car shows that it is not. After sometime of switching the car on and off it starts working ok for around one or two calls then starts playing up again. The radio and cd player work fine but they both just go silent for around one minute then come back on. This happens quite regularly and and is really annoying. My wing mirrors folded in perfectly as they should when i bought the car but then the drivers side started getting stuck when opening them so i would have to press the open and close button a few times to get it back to how it should be. Now it moves around 1cm to close and doesnt go any further. When i press to open them it goes back to to normal position. The passenger side work fine. I would really appreciate it PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if anyone can help me as this are just teething problems but really annoying. Many Thanks.

When i finally found the perfect one I was over the moon. unfortunately, i have only had it for just over 2 weeks and got problems with it already. The Bluetooth telephone systems is not working properly. I can from time to time connect my iPhone and make and receive calls perfectly but then for most of the time it does not connect although my phone is saying it has connected and then the biggest problem of all is when i press the telephone button on the integrated system is says this function is not available. When i leave the car off for around 15mins or so it will re appear and sometimes not connect to the phone again. Can somebody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me as I was hoping my experience of owning a Jaguar would have started off a better one. Also, my drivers side door wing mirror will not move in when pressing the button to close them both, I was at first getting stuck (would come al the way in but would got back out all the way so i would have to press the button a few times to open and close and then it would eventually go out) but I could the motor still running. It still moves in about 1cm but then just stops!!! Any suggestions for both the problems would be very much appreciated.
