  1. Please can someone give me the part number I need! I'm about to replace the brake discs and pads on my 2001 X100 4.0 coupe. I have carefully measured the front discs, which are 325mm, not 305mm, so the larger ones. I have purchased a nice set of discs and pads from a reputable company, who have sent me Brembo type pads, as that's what my registration online says is correct. That is not the case, I have the standard caliper and pad design, which I believe is called the Tevez type. I'm desperately trying to find the correct part number for the pads that will fit my l325mm discs and calipers, but all I seem to find is conflict between different places that hold information. HELP PLEASE! Many thanks, Tim
  2. Thank you for responding. I have already checked these Jim, and they are fine. I think we have exchanged messages on Jaguar Forum as well?
  3. Hello folks, I really do need some help, please. My XK8 won't fire or start. I have replaced the fuel filter, I have good fuel pressure at the Schrader valve. The fuel pump relay is live and switching correctly. However, there is no power at the coils at all. Is this something that has occurred for anyone before? I'm wondering if the immobiliser is causing this issue. For some reason, the central locking isn't working, but I can set the alarm with the fob. Any advice and assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  5. Hi folks, I wonder if someone can give me some help please? My headlights have just gone off and I have checked the fuse, any advice to repair them please? Front and rear side lights are not working on the offside, again, it’s not the fuse. Please can someone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks, Tim
  6. Thank you Julie, it's nice to say hello to someone 👍
  7. Hello folks, I've joined as I've got back into my Jag phase again, having had an XJ6 ay the age of 21! I have bought a 1978 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 for restoration. I have started a new business. I have set up with an experienced vehicle technician and we are providing servicing and repairs, plus restoration and sales of Classic Cars. I am currently working on a 2001 Jaguar XK8 and loving it. If anyone in the south of England, requires any assistance with their Jaguars, I will be pleased to help. I am also doing vehicle remapping for either performance or economy, or a mix of both. This is a bespoke service, different for each vehicle, using the latest technology, so the car must have an ECU. It would be great to get to know many of you and hear stories and find value items. I'm currently looking for some second hand parts, so if anyone can recommend a good and reasonably priced supplier for my Jags, please let me know. Thanks, Tim
  8. XJ6 1978 in bronze, 67000 confirmed. XK8 2001, 79000 confirmed. Looking for some help restoring them both please? Thank you, Tim
