  10. Julie Is someone attempting to have a laugh. £1400 ....I feel I would want two cars done for that money. Perhaps their finish is twice as good. ???????????????????????? Best Wishes, John
  11. Tony I am 72 years young and have similar thoughts to you. I was a keen and avid Japanese fan with the likes of Nissan 200 sx (S12, S13, S14, Primera eGT and Skylines including a R34 GTR I upgraded to 430 BHP. Now have my S-Type, which I absolutely adore, even though it does take some regular repairs, resets etc, to keep it running. It is a gorgeous car, of 16 years of age and has 65,000 mls from new. Needs battery (12 months old only) constantly being put on my CTEK charger/conditioner as with most S-Types and many other Jaguar models, they suffer badly from low battery charge due to the over zealous discharge when not in constant use. I would not be without the older style and leisure of an S-Type Jaguar these days. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  12. Julie I keep my car outside like you. It is washed regularly using a SnowFoam, then a Good Shampoo and then on a monthly basis I use a Hydrophobic water solution to spray the car, before finally drying and buffing . It keeps very well, dirt does not stick and washes away easily . Any rain or elements in the air form large bubbles and run off the car. I do also always use a pressure washer, nothing fancy, just a cheap Karcher model. Best Wishes, John
