  1. Les There are many listed on Google. Just put in what you are after and it produces loads of results both new and used. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  2. Ledicam ?????? Lets go for : Video
  3. Dave I am a few years older than you at 72. However , like you I prefer the older looking cars. It is my personal belief that after the S-Type, Jaguar lost their way from a style point of view. Well from other points of view as well, may be. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  4. Gary I have no idea what sizes these sort of tyres are manufactured in but personally I would have thought the selection of sizes would be somewhat restricted in comparison to normal full sized road tyres. I suppose the way would be to do a visual comparison to make certain you have a pair of wheels with the same diameter/height and rolling circumference. Other than that I would still be very sceptical about safety and any damage that might be done. E.G. to the differential unit. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  5. Not having TPMS on my S-Type this seems like a reasonable safety feature, as long as accuracy is built in. I do rely on regular checking with the good old fashioned dial pressure gauge. Very inclined to purchase one of these and then compare readings between this and the gauge. Regards, John
  6. Good luck with your search, take your time and find the right one for you. John
  7. Andrew, Welcome. That looks like a nice XJ8. Best Wishes and Regards, John

Good on you. I believe we will all look forward to the outcome of your talking to Jaguar with the knowledge you have acquired. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  10. I think Jaguar in general is "very unforgiving of low voltage." My S-Type needs regular use of my CTEK MS 7 to keep it electrically fit. One of the best investments I have made in looking after my S-Type, especially for the relatively low cost. I put mine on charge at anytime when I know it is not going to be used for a couple of days. If it is used daily it still gets put on at least twice a month. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  11. Dave, Have you run a check via the OBD2 connector to see what codes the car may be showing. An OBD2 code reader is a very good investment and need not be extremely dear to be beneficial. It may prove a financial advantage to try and diagnose what is /may be faulty, rather than just keep throwing money / time at numerous items in the hope of finding/eliminating the problem . I have a Foseal Reader which are fairly cheap and I manage my S-Type quite successfully with kit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363255573487?epid=20043258787&hash=item5493b82bef:g:AT8AAOSwlZFf~TIY Good Luck with your diagnosis and correcting the car. Best Wishes and Regards, John

Had you considered if that insider knowledge should be used to approach Jaguar management ? Cheers, John
  13. Gary, I personally believe you have answered your own question. You mention "a stock answer" and I feel you are correct. One odd sized wheel is surely going to upset the stability of the car. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  14. Welcome to the exciting ownership of Jaguar !!!!!!!!! Best Wishes, John
  15. Looks like a nice car. Hope it serves you well and that you continue to enjoy the experience. Best Wishes and Regards, John

Being as you are not alone with this fault, one would imagine Jaguar has a manufacturing or design fault. Having said that, getting Jaguar to admit to anything would appear to be as much use as a chocolate teapot. Good luck if you and any others attempt to get Jaguar to take responsibility. Best Wishes and Regards, John
