  2. None of this comes as any surprise about Jaguar. If you have the time you will find very many similar submissions on this forum. It is apparently all part of loving a Jaguar. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  3. I concur with this advice. Details of the vehicle are essential if you are keen to sell. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  4. Dan No matter which you choose if you run a Jaguar it is going to be costly. I have no idea as to what age group you fall into or what you actually want the car for, pleasure or commuting, or if you will be maintaining the car yourself. I am 72 years young and my wife passed away 12 months ago. My S-Type, which is costly to run and maintain is, other than my daughter and grandchildren, the major pleasure and enjoyment of my life these days. My advice, based on knowing nothing about yourself or your reasons for having a Jaguar is, make certain what you buy is the best you can get for the money you are investing and go for the specification you really actually want. Then just get on and enjoy the beast whichever you decide on. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  5. Gerry Good luck, fingers crossed. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  6. Les There are many listed on Google. Just put in what you are after and it produces loads of results both new and used. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  7. Ledicam ?????? Lets go for : Video
  8. Dave I am a few years older than you at 72. However , like you I prefer the older looking cars. It is my personal belief that after the S-Type, Jaguar lost their way from a style point of view. Well from other points of view as well, may be. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  9. Gary I have no idea what sizes these sort of tyres are manufactured in but personally I would have thought the selection of sizes would be somewhat restricted in comparison to normal full sized road tyres. I suppose the way would be to do a visual comparison to make certain you have a pair of wheels with the same diameter/height and rolling circumference. Other than that I would still be very sceptical about safety and any damage that might be done. E.G. to the differential unit. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  10. Not having TPMS on my S-Type this seems like a reasonable safety feature, as long as accuracy is built in. I do rely on regular checking with the good old fashioned dial pressure gauge. Very inclined to purchase one of these and then compare readings between this and the gauge. Regards, John
  11. Good luck with your search, take your time and find the right one for you. John
  12. Andrew, Welcome. That looks like a nice XJ8. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  13. Bill welcome to the Forum. Good choice of Diagnostics Equipment. Best Wishes and Regards, John
