  1. Thank You Regards
  2. Mike, A very fair point being made about the fact that we can, all of us, make mistakes at times. However you do say that "rarely do they prevent an insurance increase if you have an accident." I find that a very interesting point and wonder where you have found the evidence of that fact, or is that may be just an opinion. Facts would be good and would inevitably impact on my decision to buy a camera or not. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  3. Dave, "Steep learning curve" ......... you will get plenty of them with the trials and tribulations of an S-Type. Buy yourself a Code Reader, as they should give you a clue what is going on. Best Wishes and Regards, John

  5. Try RING Xenon 200. Used them on my S-Type, after refurbishing lenses and they are good, especially if the lights are adjusted to correct levels. Regards and Best Wishes, John
  6. Did my S-Type Headlights with this product and it was extremely successful. Had to follow instructions to a "T" and it was laborious, BUT ..... It worked,........... "Dose as it says on the tin". https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323267695063 Best Wishes and Regards, John
  7. I would suggest the ATF, and all parts would cost £150 - £170, depending what you buy and where you buy it. Or may be more to the point what you are charged by the garage doing the job for you. Labour of course will again depend on what the garage labour charge rate is. Best wishes and Regards, John
  8. Simon Definitely CTEK, as above advice. I would recommend the MXS 7 or MXS 10, as they have the useful ability of being used as a supply, if set up correctly initially. This avoids the chance of loosing electrical current and therefore numerous settings, if you ever have to change the battery or disconnect the battery for some reason. I have a CTEK MXS 7 and it keeps my S-Type (renown battery drainers) well up together and always serviceable. A very worthwhile investment. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  9. With your own knowledge of both vehicles I imagine you are very confident of achieving your valuation for the sale. Good luck with the disposal and Best Wishes, Regards, John
