  1. Roger, Did you report this overfilling to the garage that did the service for you. Was the oil you removed as new oil should be. I would if mine like to no that the oil was not contaminated in any way, water, fuel etc., which could have caused the increase in level. No doubt the garage would deny they had overfilled. I would be concerned about using that same garage again for work on a car of mine. Hope things continue to be well with the car. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  2. Martin, Hope you solve your problem with use of the diagnostic tool. Cheers, John
  3. Thank You, Regards, John
  4. Was the 320 mm front brake disc only fitted to the more powerful V8 engine model S Type, or was it also fitted to the smaller powered models as well. What is and which models were fitted with a Sport Suspension. Many thanks and Regards, John
  5. I use a Foseal OBD 11 reader and find it usually quite adequate to at least identify where the problem is. Also have this for sale on the Forum, if of any interest to you.

  8. Just looked on Euro Parts: "2005 Jaguar S Type 2.5 : Pair Eicher Premium Discs for Front and Rear £80. Pair EBC Grooved and Drilled Front and Rear £417. EBC Red Stuff Pads Front and Rear £133. No Eicher Brake Pads quoted. So cheapest way of doing Front and Rear Disc and Pad change appears to be £213 for parts and Labour depends on who does it of course. Seems reasonable to me. Regards, John
