  1. It would appear that the plug on the rear fuse box was not making contact. Thanks for your help
  2. Latest problem with this car is I cannot open the Petrol flap. There does not appear to be a fuse in the solenoid circuit which activates the flap. There does not appear to have an emergency release pull in the boot or anywhere else. Any thoughts ?
  3. I have been plagued with the usual high parasitic current drain if car left unlocked and to a certain extent locked when the battery will flatten, However after the last MOT when the battery flattened - jump starting the car had the control/satnav screen flashing on and off although the battery showed fully charged voltage. The battery is some 2 years old but appears in good condition. Do I have to buy yet another HDuty battery to see if this eliminates the problem ? Is this just a CPU problem which will reset itself or can I reset or is it anything more drastic ? John
  4. Hi, I have a 2006 XK coupe and was surprised when opening the glove compartment with the key that the whole mechanism complete with spring popped out ! I can see how the lock and release mechanism work but cannot understand how it is all kept in place as there doesn't seem to be any clips or catches or bits to retain it anywhere ? Any advice on this would be welcomed
