install on a 2005 Jaguar S Type R
Afternoon All, i have been investigating the possibility of upgrading the factory audio in the s types and x types alike - making it as easy and pain free as possible.
im an official Audiotec Fischer Dealer, i supply’s edge, vibe, match, helix, brax and Hybrid audio. i have found a way to integrate an aftermarket amplifier which has 6 channels and can support 2 subwoofers all from one unit that is COMPLETELY PLUG AND PLAY and retains all original functionality !
no wires need to be cut - i used a jaguar fit harness and a 5 meter long extension loom to run the amps wiring to the boot so that the amplifier will sit in where the oem cd changer/nav unit is. this amp requires no extra power or ground wires to be run just 1 simple cable from the head unit to the boot!
the amp itself is a Match PP62DSP - its a fully customisable 64bit processed amp that is far far superior to amplifiers found in modern cars today.
this amp also supports the expansion of a HD Bluetooth card so that you will be able to steam music directly to to the amp with LOSSLESS Bluetooth streaming capabilities.
