  1. saw a Mk 2 today, and yes the leaper is larger, the one I have fitted is 5 inches long, the original is 8 inches, I purchased the 8 inch one with hopes of fitting it, but omg, it looks huge on the bonnet so I changed my mind and keep it as an ornament.....however, on the Mk 2 it looks superb! Bob.
  2. yep, its the same branded Jaguar multi-changer as i had in the X, just seems to be a weird place to put it, also the boot lining is not equipped to put the changer in, as the X, it had a flap which when taken down exposed it?? Bob.
  3. It has arrived today, and I have just finished fitting it, what an easy job, the growler pops out and the leaper fits straight into the same holes as the growler. Oh and BTW, it looks superb, i will take some pics (when I am not working) and post them on here. Bob.
  4. I got my quote from compare the market, and was surprised to find that my S-Type is cheaper to insure than my X-Type was by about £50, its also slightly cheaper to tax, both were 3 litre, anybody know why this is?? Bob.
  5. so where does the CD multichanger belong? I have looked at many reviews of the S-Type and they all appear to be in the boot, (which was where it was in my X-Type), but strangely this is not the case in my S, it has been put in the glove compartment, which renders this area useless for any storage. Has anyone else got the multichanger in this position?? Cheers, Bob.
  6. Leaper, soz but a Jag isn't a Jag without one. In reply to an earlier Question, you can get one on eBay for £27.99 with £3.99 P&P' (spring loaded type), i have just ordered one for my S-Type :) Bob.
  7. thanks for the welcome guys :) Bob.
  8. Hi guys, just a quick introduction, bought my first Jag in March, a 51plate X-Type which turned out to be a complete pig, major MOT failure, lucky enough i got my money back as it had a cracking private plate, and some very expensive alloys, so I decided to buy an S and I have not been dissapointed, 3.0 Litres of pure luxury, and a great tow-car for my caravan. Pics will follow soon. Thanks guys look forward to interacting with you in the forum. Bob.
