  1. As in title £185..contact me for more details if interested? Cheers Malc
  2. Oh dear... You can open the boot with the key up under the chrome lip.. Hopefully just a dead battery killing everything else? Good luck
  3. So.. What is the consensus of opinion on the best (budget) diagnostic tool? Hopefully one that will tell me which parking sensor is faulty? Why my washers don't work when engine is on? Why my stop/start won't work occasionally? Etc etc? Hopefully views from people who have actually used them not "heard" that they "might" work! Cheers Malc
  4. Hi The car is driven most days now, but was stood for a while before I bought it though, but battery is new? Shame that a posh mondeo is not as reliable as a real one!
  5. I know this has been covered before but never explained, as far as I can see? My 2012 XF has a mind of its own! Washers work perfectly with just ignition on.. One press then three staggered squirts on the upstroke.. Start the car, one squirt.. Drive the car, nothing! Stop the car.. All works again!?? Along with the reversing camera and sensors that actually did work for 5 seconds during a heavy frost!? Is all a bit reminiscent of my previous Alfa Romeos! It's simply just an annoyance! Overall a 2012 Jag with 120k, full service history, just serviced with new Mot for under 4k is great... But the silly little niggles are !Removed! irritating! I'm sure they can be easily fixed.. But only if you know what the problem is? Any ideas?? Malc Ps the mirrors don't seem to be heated either?
  6. Have you tried the little port for the key in the lower dash right side of steering wheel?
  7. Set of 4 with tyres about 3/4mm tread left.. Any good to anyone? £275 COLLECTION from GL11 5SZ Photos to follow VID-20211231-WA0002.mp4

  9. Thanks I will try to look at the wiring and the sensors if we get a dry day! It's more of an annoyance than anything.. My brain works on the fact that if it's fitted it should work! I probably need to get it plugged in to some diagnostics if I can find the right person.... Anyone local?? Cheers Malc
  10. Hello Jag owners I have become the proud owner of a 2012 XF 2.2d. So far I have replaced the 17" wheels with 18" as I felt the 17s looked too small (17s are for sale) so far very happy, BUT.. just a couple of niggles that seem common! The rear camera and all parking sensors do not work.. So far have wasted £50 on the boot wiring but that had no effect? Any new ideas? Also the screen washers have a mind of their own.. They always work when car not running.. And the first press after starting.. But after that it's anybodys guess what will happen!? Disappointing that the one I could afford doesn't have heated seats or folding mirrors, but beggars can't be choosers and it's still overall a lot of car for the money.. Looking forward to any advice and input? Malc
