  1. BOTH my Smart keys do not work with my XF RSport 2018. One of them had been playing up recently. Most of the time it opened/closed the car but occasionally it didn't. I have put a new battery in but it still doesn't work. I tried the spare key. That didn't work either. Changed the battery in that and still no joy. So it can't be the Smart key batteries. I can open the car with the App and start the car - but only by placing the Smart Key on the steering column. It then says "Smart key no longer in vehicle" which is clearly untrue. It is just not recognising it. Can anyone help please?
  2. When I first got my XF (Premium Diesel Luxury S - 2011 if this is relevant) I noticed that when I was filling up the fuel was "!Removed!" out underneath. I called out the Jag assistance people and they said it was a valve in the fuel tank that was supposed to close when filling up to create a vacuum (I think he said the last bit) but was staying open. He couldn't fix it at my house so I took it to a Lancaster dealer who replaced the valve. It was ok for a while, except that the pump kept stopping like when the tank is full up - except it wasn't full. The remedy short term was to slow the flow down so much that it is painfully slow to fill up. Now I noticed yesterday that fuel is "!Removed!" out when I fill up again. Of course I will be taking the car back to Jaguar again. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this - dangerous - problem?
