Happy new year all. Am now bald from tearing my hair out! Got a parasitic battery drain. Been into three auto Electrical firms none can pin down cause. Appreciate if anyone knows a proper expert I could go to. Quite wiling to travel as Want fixed and have run out of idea's. Ta in advance 4 any help. Tony.

Ta 4 replies guys. Auto electrician confirmed all the checks you mention done. Appreciate if you could explain a little further re. 1amp. RU meaning drain? Battery is new. Supplied by RAC. So would assume is "quality" if i'm understanding correctly this will drain battery in 3/4 days? await comment. Once again ta 4 help attempts. Tony. -
Hi gang, am suffering a bout of extreme frustration. Have a 2003 4.2 Sport. Have a parasitic battery drain. Two separate auto Electrical firms unable to find. Good business to be in. you get paid for failure. Am now £300 lighter with no result. hoping one of you knowledgeable guys may have a suggestion or two to put me out of my misery. Battery drains from full charge to absolutely flat over 3/4 days. Any help will be appreciated. Tony.

Hi John and thanks for your recommendation re. CTEK MS 07. Have been searching on the net. Unable to find an "MS 07" Plenty of other Ctek models shown. Suspect updated since you got yours. Would you kindly have a look and let me know which model is equivalent. Ta. Tony.

Hi guys, Ahh. The wonders of Jag ownership. Came on board about six months ago. Constant minor items being sorted since. The latest, Battery drains whilst car parked. RAC. out twice. Now bought emergency starter. Anyone have idea what could be causing drain? Replies will certainly be appreciated. luv all. Tony.

Hi all, have an XJ8. 2003. been running impeccably. Quick run up the A1 couple days ago. Engine started to "hunt" whilst going uphill. Orange light of cause came on. Suggestions as to cause please. Tony.

Hi all, my recently purchased XJ8 sport has had the boot lid badly scratched "keyed" by a friendly neighbour. NOT. Am getting quotes region £300. to put right. Am considering going the whole hog and getting a full respray. live in bradford W. Yorks. Appreciate some recommendations as to firms you consider will do a "reight" job. Will print this and give to my mechanic. I've reached an age where I struggle to lift my leg to get in my Shogun, which I use for fishing trips, so total no go on DIY.

Hi all, just purchased a 2003 4.2 sport. 4th jag I've had. Just goes to show some people never learn! Live in Bradistan. er sorry Bradford. Addicted angler. Shogun used for fishing. Well knocking on. Age 75. Hoping this one is a little more reliable than prev. cars. Swore after last Jag. I would only ever buy Japanese or German. It's a bugger is'nt it when you luv em. Happy motoring all! Tony
