  1. Series 1 Daimler XJ6 Sovereign (LHD) Left-Hand Drive. Located in Portland OR. Asking 16K obo The Daimler Sovereign was a name applied by Jaguar and is essentially an upgraded version of the Jaguar. It is mechanically identical to the Jaguar XJ6 but came with upgraded amenities. Most notable is the Fluted Grill and Fluted Deck Lid Trim. Very rare car! This car may be the only series 1 Daimler LHD here in the United Sates! As I understand; no series 1 Daimlers were exported to the US when new. And according the documentation on the Jaguar Heritage site only 726 LHD series 1 Daimlers were produced. Here is a link to the Jaguar Heritage site which lists production numbers. https://www.jaguarheritage.com/files/jaguar_xj6_series_1_chassis_numbers.pdf?fbclid=IwAR2UVSvYBZzt8goGBW-cGNd8cGo0xSNz6VGrEyxMSdMx713CZfF26LSiPrg Desirable European spec car equipped with SU HS8 carburetors with a manual choke kit. From what I understand these carburetors produce more power and have better fuel economy than the US cars that came with Strombergs. This LHD Daimler was originally sold new in France and still retains the French License plate. The 92 suffix on the French License plate indicates that it was originally registered in the Hauts-de-Seine region of France which is close to Paris. From what I have been told by the previous owner; This car was brought to the US by the original owner when he moved from France to California. The car has since spent time in both Oregon and Washington state and has been garaged most of its life. This car is virtually rust free with only a few areas of surface rust. The floor pans and rear undercarriage pan have no signs of rust through. There is one area around the right rear fuel filler cap that has some paint bubbles (see pic). New leather interior which cost an estimated $4,000, new dash woodwork, new tires which cost about $1000. Repainted by a previous owner in the factory original blue color. This car runs and drives and brakes but needs some work to be a daily driver. The transmission shifts smooth. The brakes are strong and the steering is tight. New tires. The engine runs but needs some routine maintenance to enhance drivability. The Speedometer is in KPH (Kilometers Per Hour) and the Odometer (which works well) shows 42,200 Kilometers. Assuming the odometer has turned over once this car has about 88,000 original miles. Clean Title in Hand. Call or Text Jeremy (971)570-5949
  2. Hi Fellow Jag lovers. I've been a Jaguar lover for years and have owned 3 in the past, an XJS, XJ12 and XJ6. No one can beat the styling of Jaguars! Is it just me or do the sexiest jags have somewhat of a phallic symbolism LOL The XK120 coupe FHC, the XKE FHC and 2+2 are perfect examples. It's tough to accomplish the shape in DHC form. Anyways, I just joined the forum and I'm trying to advertise a Series 1XJ6 Daimler Sovereign LHD that I'm trying to sell through eBay. Not sure if that's permissible for a new member? I was hoping to get your blessing for posting it here. So here it is for those who are interested, and please forgive me if this is out of line for a new member. eBay Item ID: 204136945539 1972 Series 1 Daimler Sovereign Series 1 XJ6 Left Hand Drive located in Portland Oregon USA. https://www.ebay.com/itm/204136945539 Thank you!
