  1. Hi My upper parcel shelf clips snapped so i bought a new set, the problem is the plastic nut which should fit in the plastic tailgate trim is to small, the plastic nut just goes straight through the tailgate hole. Am i missing a part to secure the parcel shelf into place, i have the bottom locators which are fine?

  3. Hi My 2007 XKR is in need of some new wheel centre caps, I have the 20" wheels. Anyone know if they are the stick on or clipped into place ones? also the size i need. Thanks
  4. Well i got the handbrake sorted with no drama. I took it to Northfield Jaguar specialist. They fitted the supplied, new handbrake motor and MOTd the car, all paid for by the dealer i bought the car from. The Labour was for 4 hours @ £75 p/h for the job and MOT. I paid for a diff oil change, just preventative, which cost me £70. When my car reaches 60k i will be having the gearbox service. Brilliant specialist, fair and they dont rip you off. This will be my go to place now.
  5. Hi i put a deposit on a 2007 Jaguar XKR, when i test drove the car i noticed the handbrake was not functioning. I did notice a whirring noise where it was trying to apply, a warning message was on the dash. The dealer said no problem he will sort the issue before delivery. The car was over 300 miles away. The dealer informed me that he would sort this before delivery. He took it to his JLR mechanic and after a few days he said it was the motor, probably stripped gearing. He told the dealer he could not do it for a week and its a 10 hour job. After finding other options we decided to gret the car delivered and i would book it into a Jaga specialist in Bromsgrove. The dealer spoke to the specialist and agreed i would book the car in and the dealer will pay all the costs, the dealer has been up front all along. The dealer will also be sending the EPB motor down with the car. The dealer is also giving me a free 12 month warranty for the delay. Is a motor change a 10 hour job? regards Mark
