Good Afternoon, I'm wondering if I could reach out to the jaguar owners club for some assistance in regard to a Jaguar X-type that I now own after my father passed away. After much thought and deliberation, i have decided to part ways with the old Jag as financially it's not economical for me to run it. One slight issue has come to light though, I have kept it in the garage since Nov '22 ( when my father passed away ) and when I finally drove it out on the driveway I became aware of some damage to driver's side front panel and scratches to the front bumper. Obviously, I am aware that this will reduce the value of the vehicle but the amounts I'm being offered by organisations like Car Wow and webuyanycar are probably not the best to say the least ( and they haven't seen the damage yet!). I'm not expecting vast sums of cash but even a local trader was very disinterested and offered £600?! Could anyone advise the best way for me to deal with this and any advice would gratefully be accepted and I look forward to any words of wisdom. I am open to offers - this could be a project for someone who loves Jaguars or maybe someone would use it for parts - all enquiries welcome!
