The Haynes manual says to drain the fuel sedimentor every 12,000 miles, but one of the YouTube videos says you don't need to do that if you're in the UK.
They don't give a reason so I'm guessing it's to do with our climate. Are they right?
I can't undo the drain valve with the sedimentor still in situ but the video does give good tips on undoing the connecting fuel pipes so it shouldn't be too tricky to remove it from the car and undo the valve (a knurled "nut") in a vice.
