  1. Hi All, I have only had this car a couple of months. In the last few weeks the EPB switch has started playing up - as in not releasing the parkling brakes Trying to drive also didnt work in doing the auto release. I have been lucky in that it jsut seemed to start working again after 10 to 15 minutes, however at the weekend - the rear wheel release is not working at all . "Both rear wheels are locked and not just one - as I had thought it might be a stuck caliper due to one of them looking brand new and the other the original factory one." I have tried using the method to put the car into service mode with no luck "With ignition on and engine not running" 1. Pull and hold the parking brake switch in the apply position. 2. Wait one second. 3. Press and hold the accelerator pedal in the wide open throttle position. 4. Wait one second. 5. Set the ignition OFF and back ON immediately. I checked the rear wheels and noticed that the black and red wires on each side look to have been damaged - are these something with sending the signal from the EPB to release the brakes, trying to avoid getting the car lifted / checked over just now as no where is available due to xmas. Pictures "Messages on the cars display" 1 - displays when using the EPB switch. 2 - displays when trying to move the car forwards or reversing. 3 & 4 - rear drivers side wheel - black and red wires damaged / corroded 5 - rear off side wheel - black and red wires damaged / corroded. Not sure how the wires would have ended up like this as look to be compressed by something. Any advice greatly appreciated 🙂 Will check forum to see if i can locate anyone else having the same issue.
