  1. when I went to type in topic it self filled so, have I asked this before, I wonder. My horn only works if I depress the centre of the pad, not the corners as it used to, my question is, how can I "open" the pad to inspect contacts/wiring without wrecking it? Ta, Miles
  2. Hello, I have a problem on the above, the horn has ceased to function properly from the steering wheel, only working when the centre of the pad is depressed, instead of any of the corners etc. It passed its MOT but realy annoys me. I have carried out the Googling to no avail, regarding how to just remove the horn pad from the wheel for inspection/repair purposes. Could anyone please advise me on this as I don't want to tear it to shreds due to my lack of knowledge. Many thanks, Miles
  3. Hi, just joined/re-joined, not sure, I have a 2000 XKR and after a few batteries and a kill switch, I think I may have solved my "drain" problem. After developing several niggly electrical faults, horn, alarm mirrors over extending etc. I bit the bullet and carried out a Hard Reset! Everything is now sorted, the battery can stand unused for 6 weeks without running and starts when bidden. Fingers crossed eh? Regards, Miles
