Hi Ian I find the Bluefin for my 3.0D excellent and the company are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have no lag and the power increase is amazing without wrecking the engine. The ECU attachment is under the dashboard on the drivers side and is easily attached. This is the third car I have remapped from Bluefin and the difference is all I have required making the car smoother and if driven normally slightly better fuel economy. If your not happy they will refund your money within a certain time frame. Hope this helps. Regards Alan

I own a jaguar XJ 3.0 D Portfolio and have the Bluefin remap, I have found the power increase and torque increase makes a huge difference to the car and would recommend this way of increasing power. Also it can be removed and reinstalled as many times as you like.

I have a 2014 Jaguar XJ 3.0D and have a Bluefin remap. It is very useful as it can be removed prior to servicing I would recommend this product as it is the second car I have installed there software. Sorry for late reply but only just noticed your post.

I have a new XJ and travelled through France without a problem with my Tag, it was just to the right of the rear view mirror. The car has a heated front screen but did not cause a problem.

Just had a Bluefin remap on my new 2014 Jaguar XJ, lots more power well worth the £450. Tried a tuning box fitted prior to the Bluefin no comparison the box had a bad flat spot before jerking my head back, it was also not very good on fuel. I would recommend the Bluefin remap over a tuning box.

Having opted for the Steinbauer Tuning Box it has made a huge difference to the car, loads more power and torque (not checked on a rolling road just the actual change in power when driving). It was very expensive but well worth the money would recommend this box to anybody with a new car.

Unfortunately they could not break into the new ECU so remap not done, Jaguar have altered the coding to try and stop changes. The car is going in on Thursday to have a Steinbauer Tuning Box fitted as the garage said it will be undetectable.

Booked my car into Kartechnic, Poole for a remap tomorrow as they did my Jaguar XF and it was superb.

Just changed from XKR so noticeably bigger but love the car. Could do with slightly more power.

Looked on Celtic site, emotion not available for my XJ.

Thanks for info. the Jaguar is only two days old and didn't want to mess the warranty up that is why I am interested in the Bluefin as it can be removed quickly .

Has anyone remapped there XJ with a Bluefin and were the benefits worth it?
