hi richard , sorry to here of your troubles, main dealers are rubbish the work force are mostly young guys. the older and more experienced leave them after a few years. so its prob better for you in future to use a recommended indy from the list on the site. my car before the jag was a x5 08 plate lovley big motor to drive but !Removed! load of probs. jags miles better. we have a vauxhall insignia that i use as daily runaround only use the jag when i need to. but the vauxhall is brutal not comfy at all them seats!!! its night and day between them not just for comfort. jag uk are useless they simply couldnt give a ##### charlie
  2. peter when i got mine from the dealer i got a years warranty but i got my indy mate to service and MOT it. so they are prob just wanting me to get them to service it. no chance. and when i had an issuie with the back lights . dealer said it was cosmetic jaguar uk done nowpt to help me and i gave them zero out of ten on feed back form. charlie

  14. raymond if you have checked the coolant level and its ok then it must be a faulty sensor. i would take it to a diaognostic checkist the would be at lest be able to remove it. charlie :)
  15. robert have you ever sat in a f-type. ive sat in them twice at dealerships, very low down seats are on the floor much lower than the xk. it looks to much like a beefed up bmw z4 to me. and the 5lt job is nearly 100grand. i would rather buy a bently gt but thats my own opinion charlie
  16. robert i agree with peter. charlie
  17. peter welcome to the club. its easy just go to any jaguar dealers near you and explain your looking for a touch up pen, they will ask you for your car vin no. its located in the pasangers side bottom windscreen or under the bonnet or in your handbook. and they will give you a touch up kit or pen around £10-20quid hope this has help regards charlie

peter thanks will check it out later on . but im old school like you a new shirt or suit one day the next its old and in the bin the cost for working in the building trade. a old friend of mine from 30 yrs ago whom ive lost track of served his time as a joiner from coatbridge . went to london and after many years of hard working and saving manage to buy his own flat done it up and sold it made a great profit. anyway jimmy done that for years made his way up the ladder became a millioner several times over. returned to scotland had about a dozen pubs , race horses , had two mercs, wife no3 had bmw m5 he had brown rolls royce think it was shaddow by the time he was 40. met him on one of the sites i was sub contractor to . he jumped out of the rolls and took the shovel of a young guy miking up cement 2grand suit&shoes on . i will show you how to mix son . new shoes &suit splatterd . some guy but he never forgot that he came from a council house in coatbridge he used to walk in to a pub and buy the full pub a drink. if i havnt seen it with my own eyes.i wouldnt have told you. he was married 3 times that i know of and then went back to london. dont know if hes alive or dead but the nicest and most deasent pearson you could ever meet. james carrigan god bless you sir. charlie
  21. kevin she wont touch automatics shes a stubborn old hen that way. i should have never have sold her wee merc manual ,but it was just sitting ther and i hadnt long bought the jag so was bitten by it driving it all the time. but a two seeater job is not practicall. we have my mother who is in her eighties and two dogs so it was very stupid of me to sell the merc at 36,000miles to go and buy a insignia 6mths later wich i use as the daily runner round. but we all make mistakes. charlie

thanks trevor. went to east kilbride shopping centre with my wallet full. i am 57 today HM went out earlier with her friend. so was going to treat myself to a few new shirts. was in a few stores & nothing caught my eye. again looking at watches, and again bought nothing. ive got a full wardrop wall to wall suits countless jackets some hand made. shoes boots still in boxes that i like, but i am a fussy old bugger if nothing catches my eye then i walk out. i used to like watches when i was a bit younger had some nice ones gold ect cost a few bob. gave them away to the boys they ware them kid on their toffs lol so came home with nothing. will have a look on the computer later on see if i see something. just filled my self a small glass of you know what. the boys are coming toinight as are friends. so will have a good nite. time just flyes trevor hope you enjoy yours as well charlie

  25. lyn. sounds good thats the way the football should be played to. but up here a certain two teams have wasted the game with there bigoted views. the smaller other teams do have thier own fans. i like the way that down south the folk support their own home team. wished it was that way up here that is one things that annoys me and thats why i dont bother about football. regards charlie
