Charlie, I presume you mean the Astons ?, ok, but nothing to write home about, rather cumbersome for a six litre 12 cylinder . The sav nav is hopeless, you have to refer to the manual for everything, as nothing is logical in the car . The XJ supersport was faster, and the XKR is miles faster. Shortly they are replacing the engines with Mercedes AMG ones, and updating the electrics with German stuff also . They are overpriced ( you can get a Ferrari for the price of the new Vanquish ) , not very fast, cost a fortune to service, and average 18 mpg . To sum up, a nice car to want, but not to own. Re-newing your vows, I didn't think peeps really did that , I just tell mine she's lucky she captured me in the first place . Pic of me with the Aston ( and no, i'm not getting my hair cut ). Charles, My XKR, and my recent XJ Supersport ( and both the XF's I was lent by the garage) have all been leagues ahead of the cars i've had over the past four years, which have been a BMW 335 M sport convertible , a BMW M3 convertible, an Aston Martin DB9 Volante, and an Aston Martin DB9 Le Mans. The Jaguars have been far superior in every way, and at present I would not dream of driving another marquee ( good word for this time of the morning ). ATB, Trevor

Neville, I suppose being realistic you do live in Norfolk , which makes us Devon peeps seem advanced ( only joking) It sounds like your ISP is the problem ( who are you with) , you should be able to connect via broadband without any hitches . Your computer should be ok. I'm with Plusnet and find them fine. Peter, I've been given until the vehicle is three years old (November 2015), plus some extra warranty when the first MOT is due . It is understandable with companies like Kia who give 7 year warranties , and also Audi will not buy back any car that has not been serviced by them . I think these people need to be taken outside and be given a beating by e herd of dwarves ! The wife reckons I'm just becoming a grumpy old man, but I think for the amount of money I've paid them (by instant bank transfer on all five dealings) I have every right to stand up for myself ; or do they own me now? Peter, Thank you. Another quick question if you don't mind . Had a letter from the stealership today where I bought the car . They claimed under the terms of the warranty the car has to be serviced by a Jaguar dealer, is this correct ? I was always led to believe that as long as it was at a VAT registered garage and genuine Jaguar parts were used, the warranty was still valid. This is taken from a letter sent by Jaguar in regard to an extra Free MOT warranty on the car (under the Servicing and Service Records clause) . " A Jaguar dealer or a VAT registered garage should carry out the servicing, and receipts retained as Jaguar Approved Warranty Administration are entitled to check the service recording the event of a claim." Peter, Our nearest John Lewis is 65 miles away , don;t know who Harvey nicks or Jaeger are, but are probably in Exeter. M&S just sell junk and rely on their overpriced supermarket food to keep going, We do have a posh (expensive) dead animal shop on Exmoor though . ATB, Trevor P.S.
