  1. I have had a similar issue but mine is a 2.5v6 , took mine to the garage today been told the breather pipe is pinching so waiting a new one...it seems and easy fix so may try it myself and save £25
  2. noticed today my local bp has dropped to 1.10 a litre for unleaded so a bonus , i have noticed a drop in performance as well...and...i don't know if this has anything to do with the tesco fuel....she keeps stalling ( no it isnt me ) she has never done it before...needless to say think when she gets to half a tank i will refill her with proper stuff and thanks for the advice guys
  3. Well today i filled my Xtype indianapolis up with unleaded from tesco as it was 1.11 a litre 3p a litre less than the local bp.....i will be sticking to premium fuel, as noticed today my fuel consumption has dropped, only been tatting round town and already the gauge has come off the full, When i used bp fuel it took around 3 days to move the needle..so for the sake of 3p a litre i will be sticking with premium fuel....anybody else noticed the difference between fuel at a garage and fuel at a supermarket
  4. i use cov cats next to the dairy in coventry ( i live in wyken ) chris there is also very good and cheap
  5. i have the same problem with my 2.5 indianoapolis it is the switch on the back of the gearbox mine goes in after christmas to be sorted
  6. I have also oticed another issue with my 2.5 indianapolis but i think i can answer this one myself...i noticed my reversing sensors were not working and then realised i have no reversing lights..but a couple of times they have come on ...i am i corrext in thinking the rely on the back of the gearbox...the car is a manual..and now my drivers door is sticking....it is going back to the garage to be sorted...ALL FREE as under warrenty
  7. Hi guys..came across a bit of a problem last night . The jag has been parked up all week while i was away on tour, i came back to notice my n/s front tyre was flat, i went to the garage up the road to put some air in an noticed the stem valves are missing off all four wheels...ow ahving trundled carefully to a garage i have been told the stem valves for the tyres have been removed and they nare a specalist part and jag only..It means i am currently driving round with my spacesaver on the front wheel as no one has any tyre valves that wil fit my alloys , apprantly it is a jaguar dealer only part the cost isn't bad for four only £68...my jag by the way is an X-TYPE indianapolis hence the tyre valve issue as only 401 were made..anybody know if i can get them anywhere else other than Jaguar...

  10. To be honest i dont' want the items now, just my money back...i am not blaming the club one bit as not down to them but there seems to be a issue with the supplier, are the supplier aware that paying for something then not recieving the items is fraud...to be honest if this isn;t sorted by the end of the week i will be taking the matter further LEGALLY if it means taking legal action against the supplier then i will....YOU CAN SEE HOW ANNOYED I AM...
  11. Joined premium upgrade three weeks ago got my two stickers and my discount but no t shirt or mug.....to say I am disappointed is an understatement especially as I paid extra to have them how do I go about either a receiving the goods I have paid for or getting my money back.....as paid for goods and not received them ......ANNOYED
  12. After being jag less for nearly two years I am back in one..I had an 05 plate 2.0v6 x type that got rear ended by an artic last March. Since then I have been driving about in a crappy Hyundai elantra but the jaguar urge was to much and now I have a x type 2.5 v6 Indianapolis in the ultra violet blue one of only 401 made....it's nice to be back
  13. After 18 months of happy jaguar ownership . the glory days look like they are over. 2 weeks ago my X-Type started missfiring and runing rough . It was discovered that 2 coil packs had failed and all my sparkplugs had to be replaced ( they hadnt been in 12mths ) due to water having got in...With the service the bill was a Reasonable £400. i had the car back a day and half and on my way home from work down the M6 on Saturday night the Engine MAnagement light came on again and the car started runing rough again . It again this morning went back into the Specialist. The car has now left me stranded for work on Wednesday......Unfortunatly as soon as i get it back it is going in Part Ex change for something else ( at the moment either a BMW 5 serise or 3series estate.) . It is the first Jag i have owned though i doubt it will be the last , the problems have put me off a bit esspecially as talking to another Jag owner yesterday he told me he used to own a 2.0 V6 X-Type that devolped the same problems that mine has had and in the end it cost a fortune to put right ( he part ex,d it for a new XF ).
  14. My 2.0v6 petrol recently suffered with this my specialist replaced to coil packs and all my plugs as water had got into the plugs and damaged them and shorted my coil packs out. Dont know if the same would apply to a diesel but the bill was still reasonable from a specialist had a service as well alll for under 400 quid

I filled it up when i got it and since Friday i have done 85 miles and i have noticed the Fuel Gauge is still on full now either the V6 is more economical as the diesel or as i am suspcting the fuel gauge is stuck. Any ideas is the float stuck in the tank , is it an easy fix or a big problem. Help !!!!!!!!!!!
