I agree- with a friendly club as this no one wants the rules pushed in front of them because they
know how to conduct them self's with out that.
There must be a reason why someone wants to push things close to breaking the rules all the time WHY.???
Lets keep this friendly and all enjoy the good nature of the club .
Frank
Hi David --Sorry to hear of your problem and from my own experience and other owners
I would say the first thing to do is check your battery a faulty or low battery will cause all
sorts of problems ---Best of luck
Frank
Hi Peter Welcome to the club I also have a X Type and enjoying the Jaguar feeling don't worry about asking
questions we have many friendly members who are too pleased to help each other .
Frank
I totally agree with you Peter and Ken when someone joins the club young or old you like to come in nice and gentle
at first then after a while get to know the members the layout and then ask a question if you have a problem .????
This is a friendly club lets keep it that way a friendly welcome is the norm not a demand.??
Frank
Hi Darren
l would say its the jets or needles Fist of all I would set the jets about the same as each other and quite
low and make sure the needles are both in the same slot .???
If you set them to give more fuel and then it over fuels when ticking over just reset again .????
Frank
Hi Robert
Welcome to the club really pleased to have you as a member we are a friendly bunch of Jaguar enthusiasts
and I'm sure someone will be on soon to help you --I have a X Type and really love to drive around in my
dream car because that's what I've wanted for a few years now.
Best regards
Frank
Hi Kevin
Like you say -Top Gear was entertainment and like you I don't believe the new presenters will bring it off .
Not like Jezzer, May and Hamster they made it worth watching with there fun goings on .
Frank
Hi Paul --Can I just suggest that you run a separate earth wire from the tow-bar to the
caravan and if you have one make sure its OK???? --Metal to Metal do it temporary to
see if it works --Just a thought.
Frank
HI Allan
Welcome to the club you will find us very friendly and we all like helping each other when we can
so by all means tell of your niggles and I'm sure some one will help
Jim ---I am in total agreement with Peter because when I saw your statement I also thought it was a Criticism of a members spelling etc
I think perhaps just a unintentional -- unfortunate way you put it ?????
Frank
Hi Howard
I'm sure the cigar lighter socket would be OK to run it but the power socket would be the best and better connection
Making it a lot safer.
Frank
Its OK Jim I'm sure you are right but I still think it looks good and as you say every
to there own---By the way did yours come with one fitted????
All the best
Frank
Hi Gareth
Jim said that it wasn't designed to be on a X Type but the X Type still has the hole in the bonnet frame
where the leaper should fit and I have one fitted and it really looks the great .
"BUT" I will say that drill a very small hole from inside -out first and then do a measure check on the outside
when I fitted mine I found it to be a little off center and I was told to do this by another member at the time
so take care.???
It really looks good go for it
Frank
