I have recently had to part with my x type,it got killed by a Mercedes 4x4 so I have genuine jaguar 2011/2012 sat nav disc for sale that I bought from jaguar at a reasonable price as I have now got a Volvo at only £20 tax a year but a couple of years will go back to jag as I do miss it. I live in bristol, any reasonable offers welcome.

Hi william, I was just looking to add jaguar voice to my 2006 xtype diesel and have been trawling for info, how did you get on/ did you manage to install voice and was it worth it. Thanks Andy

Hi I've had 2 x type's and the lights are shockingly poor I have upgraded both cars using the Osram Nightbreaker bulbs and they do the job at about £20 they're worth it. But changing the bulbs is a bugger of a job as the space is quite cramped for bigger hands.

I have the 2.2d 2006 now this is my second as the first was 2.5 v6 2001both been bought second hand and apart from minor little things that you would find in any car these days. I love them and am looking forward to many more years of jaguar ownership to come. And after neerly buying a mondeo last time for economic reasons even though it was a titanium x it still was not a patch on the x type I did buy even though the mondeo had more gadgets. What's to love about JAG'S, EVERYTHING.

Hi I have a 2.2 diesel and have thought very deep probably to much about a remap as I am concerned about the possible damage that could be caused and as my car has now done 105000 I am really cautious about possible insurance repercussions. Is it really that beneficial? Please help put my mind at rest.

Thanks for the welcome Peter, I have already tried WD a few days ago and no joy I am I will also try silicone spray next time instead. I had a x type 2.5 V6 petrol previously which had the same issue that WD did sort out. Thanks

Hi all I have a 2.2 diesel 2006. Has been very reliable so far but recently the drivers window will not go all the way up (approx 1cm short) I have tried taking out the fuse and resetting but no joy. Any one else had the same problem? And now does it mean taking the door panel off and checking the alignment of the runners. Many thanks
