  1. And from Wales; Nadolig Llawen, Merry Christmas to one and all hope you all have a good one,
  2. If I'm honest Peter I watch the supermarkets, I've had it in Tesco for as little as £14.50 for 4ltrs and my old SL used to swallow 12ltrs into the sump
  3. Good deal to be had; http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-engine-oils?utm_source=ECP+Customers+3&utm_campaign=65946f2004-Christmas_Sale_Launch12_22_2014&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_558a3b5c7d-65946f2004-287464577
  4. I think we would all be clutching at straws to give you an educated, qualified answer on that one Sam. I personally believe its a stealership or Independent good garage with trained technicians who regularly see this type of idle that will resolve your issue. Lets not forget a decent independent does not necessary have to be Jaguar trained.
  5. The sound of the XKR V8 4ltr Supercharged Engine, Colour; Light Blue with Cream Leather however, disappointment comes with the outdated Jaguar Standard Sterio System, although there is a CD Stacker in the boot the cabin holds a radio cassette with no USB hub.
  6. Where is the May meet?
  7. Very nice, I've my 38th next, will await the 40th before spending out. Done all the Caribbean and cruises so don't know where the next fancy one will be.
  8. Hopefully, depends when in May it falls. Our anniversary is in May and we always go away for a week during that period
  9. Apologies for the puns Robert, wish I could assist but without being with the vehicle I would be guessing.
  10. It was Brighton it stopped, looked and got excited when it seen the boys in dresses :D
  11. They are so different to those of the Lambo and I would agree with you 100% there however these were nothing like it
  12. I don't mind the doors Trevor, like yourself I thought exactly the same until I was in Mercedes Swansea where there was a SLR in the showroom and the salesman asked me if I wanted to sit in. It was not restrictive like I thought it would be.
  13. I had it done in the rear window of y 911 many years ago and believe you me night time driving is sooooooooo restrictive. Just not worth it, like Trevor have stated "Don't Know how its allowed". I wouldd never have it done again.
  14. At least you can say you had one or two of them and never again Trevor. I'm still in the I want one mode but there again I also want a SLR or SLS
  15. Happy that its all worked out for you. Just goes to show it is sometimes the simplest of things that you can loose sleep over. That is of course different with Trevor having spent a fortune of two 4 year old Aston Martins that were not fit for purpose.

    tyres

Stick with original on front if anything you can stretch the rear wider. I find mytyres.com the cheapest and best for tyres and they include the fitting price where you chose a National Tyres Depot close to your home
  17. Browd got the 3ltr F type sport which is a lot quicker tan the standard 3ltr. That new AMG, GT really does look the business though I will be well jealous of you buddy and you may get a visitor at Ilfracombe :D
  18. My brother recently purchased a brand new F type Trevor, he opted for the 3ltr sport version with twin superchargers, he did not see any reasoning behind stepping up for the 5ltr when the performance on this is well capable of losing him his licence. He's chuffed to bits with it and I'm envious
  19. And to think before purchasing the XKR I was really looking for a second and DB7 like you I wanted my dream car. I did not realise AMG/Merc were to supply them with engines/electrics
  20. All part of getting to the root of the problem Frank, could be as simple as that
  21. What model did you have Trevor and what was the let down? I love the roar on the DB9
  22. I appreciate your frustration Clive however, they will look at the book price no matter what you have insured the sum at. I would suggest you take a look at the Parkers or similar guide for your vehicle and see what prices are floating the market. Another method without meaning to be disrespectful to you is take a look on the we buy any car website and see the pittance they will offer. Good luck Clive
  23. Market Value as your Policy Schedule will read unfortunately. I'm not saying this is right but this is how the law would look at it
  24. The obvious answer would be to get to the root of the problem, I personally would not purchase new switches unless I fully established than one or another was actually faulty. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution here, you would need to get at the individual switches and test them one by one by applying power to it.
  25. Naughty ha ha
