  1. Hi Pasha Yes I remember the Scorpio very well, a friend of mine had one. So well appointed with every gadget you could think of, I seem to recall. Still I have to say I am a Jag man really and I am looking forward to October when I will be taking it down to Spain, its first long run. What are you driving now? Is it the S-Type? :)
  2. Hi Pasha Yes, it is, in th early days I got bored with a car quite quickly, maybe cos I hadnt found the right one. I have to say though, that the XF is something else so will be keeping that a while ;) How did you find the BMW? My son has recently bought the 3 series coupe and at the momment he loves it. Paul
  3. Hi I had a similar problem some time back, the engine light came on but for no obvious reason, the car worked well. It turned out, believe it or not, that the battery in my remote was low. When I changed the battery, opened the car from scratch and switched on, the light remained out. Just a thought.

  5. Hi Soraya Thank you very much for getting back to me. I will take the car back to the Jaguar dealer and see what they say. If they dont help I would very much like to get in touch with your repair chap. Does he come to the house to repair or would I have to go to him? Paul
  6. Hi Alastair Sorry have not replied earlier but have only just come back from holiday. Thanks for the info I will certainly take the XF back to the dealer and ask for a repair as the warrenty doesnt run out until November. I will let you and Big Al know what happens. Many thanks again Paul

  8. Hi Alan Thanks for the welcome and your comments. I hadnt thought of going to my Jag dealer as I felt warrenties didnt cover things like the leather upholstery but I might well try that first before looking into profesional repairers. Thanks again Paul
  9. Hi, I have just joined the Jaguar Owners club and I wanted to ask any member if they know anything about repairing a leather seat. I have an XF still in warrenty and I have noticed a flaw in the drivers seat. The leather has started to tear and i wondered if it could be repaired? Any ideas? Thanks in anticipation.
