  2. hi Tomas when you did the replacement did you disconnect the battery? if you did you will need to reset chimes on computer some you just tick the things you want on or un tick the one you don't hope its as easy as that fingers crossed TREVOR IF ITS NOT THAT. OLD PETER WILL KNOW MORE HE WILL SEE THIS AS SOON COMES ON LINE
  3. the loom runs down the passenger side of car there is a plug at the front of the car for fitting front sensor loom and the same at the rear it may need the module as well as loom
  4. only 5 miles away my no is 01462 811077 if you don't have the module in the boot the loom should still be there just a bit harder to find is it the estate or saloon

HI ADAM the multi plug should be in the left Corner of the boot some times it is also behind the rear panel of the boot same Corner you will also see the revering module you may have to lift the boot carpet out the loom plugs into the module one grey plug one yellow plug TREVOR PS. I HAVE NOTICED YOU LIVE IN HERTS IF YOU ARE NOT FAR FROM THE HITCHIN AREA YOU CAN LOOK MY X/TYPE TO SEE HOW TO FIT

  7. hi Tim welcome to the club is the disc a jaguar one if so try a head cleaner first and clean the disc they do sell jaguar disc/dvd on ebay but make sure its original TREVOR

  9. HI JIM the jack lays flat on the floor with the base of the jack to the left side of the boot the jack is partly open and in the centre of the jack is a hole in witch the bar with the head goes through so its through the wheel through the jack screw to floor TREVOR

  11. hi adam welcome to the club the loom you should buy for the x type has a 12 pin plug fitted female and the male plug is behind the side panel in the boot TREVOR

  14. hi I had this with my touareg I was told to press the brake pedal harder or replace the brake pedal switch. it was, I just needed a larger shoe size TREVOR

  18. ok my car run much the same it was a split intercooler pipe on mine you need to look for that and at the same time clean the egr valve TREVOR

  21. hi glen peter may well be right with the sensor you can try to reset the ecu take the black lead off battery for ten mins but before you do make sure you have radio code TREVOR
  22. hi richard you could try a reset by taking the black lead off the battery and leave off for ten minuets but before you do this make sure you have the radio code TREVOR
  23. hi james electrics can suffer warning lights staying on sat-nav causing problems fuel cap can refuse to open air con also can let you down sorry but its still a great car hope this helps TREVOR
  24. hi dave had a chat with the fitters at work they say no more then what we said sensor, gearbox oil, and filter sorry cant be much more help but it was worth the ask. one did say all the things I ask about jaguar I would be better off to get a new one lol TREVOR
  25. hi took my car for a service to jaguar the cost was £606 never again on the bill was a cost of £66 to change the brake fluid so my last service was done by the garage down the road at the cost of £180 plus stamped the book have you had a service recent and did you get a great price? TREVOR
