  1. Peter, Thanks for this. I will try the Millers ERG cleaner first. I quite fancy dropping it into Sports mode and giving it a "blast" on the motorway. Regards, Quinny
  2. Peter Thanks for the reply. I have tried what you recommended, and the interior air circulation does help, although as you will be aware, this function is on a timer, which defaults back to normal after about a minute. I have made some enquiries, and I am being pointed in the direction of the emission valves. Apparently there is one on either side of the engine. I have been told these carbon up through time and stick open, giving the condition I am experiencing. I have also been told it is about 1k to change them. Regards, Quinny
  3. I have a 2006 2.7 Diesel Sport S-Type, which recently has developed a dangerous fault. When idling, diesel exhaust fumes emit from under the bonnet, and make their way into cab via the air ducting. I have stopped using the car as I feel it is slowly killing me. (A slight over exaggeration, but dangerous). This only happens when idling. When accelerating and up to speed all is normal. Does anyone have any ideas???
