  1. Hi Try Black Circles online just looked and 255/35/20 'J' rated Pirelli P zeros like I have on my 20in Sentas are £185 fitted price with Dunlop sportmaxx at £183. I have used them several times and always happy with their service. You book online into one of their approved garages and then go get them fitted...
  2. Graham Don't panic and I agree with Rob...get a clay bar kit ( I bought a Maguiars Ultimate Kitone from halfords ) but you can buy numerous brands and it works wonders plus is easy to do. Then just a good wax polish will bring it up a treat for a fraction of the price of getting it detailed. I got quoted about £150 for a full polish and buff. I know I can do as well myself with a bit of effort If you have access to YouTube there are loads of clips about how to restore paintwork on a car. Most just need some elbow grease. I've done my own cars for the last 3 I've owned and it's also very satisfying when you see the results. I think my profile pic of my last XJ gives a good example I've just bought a 59 plate XF and have spent a reasonable weekend getting it back to a showroom shine £60 in total for all the bits and pieces needed. This includes a really good quality wax polish and all the microfibre cloths to go with it. Give it a go and worst scenario is you will ache for a couple of days lol
  3. I'm sure many of you have your own regular garage but just a recommendation for Jag Autos in Liverpool. They are very knowledgeable and have done some work for me on my previous XJ which I have no issues with either price or workmanship Anyone got any other recommendations?

    Hi there

Good evening all..... Not exactly a post but just joined so introducing myself. I'm on my 3rd Cat now...started on a 55 plate S-type but was pretty disappointed with it. Mainly because I picked a bad spec model in the executive which was sparse on interior toys....however the 4.2 V8 was superb fun and I loved the power and sheer effortless pull. I then went XJ358 sovereign as in my profile pick with the 2.7TDVI which was an unbelievable car and I would recommend one to anybody. Had it remapped with an extra 42 bhp and about 65 lb/ft torque and the DPF deleted and believe me it was soooooo worthwhile. Kicked you up the !Removed! if you had a heavy foot :) but then sat in a mates XF and knew it was for me I now own a 3.0 td with the 275 bhp Premium Luxury and don't regret changing for an instant. Just had it detailed and looking to get it remapped too :) I've had many cars including BMW 5s, SAABs, and high end VXs and this is by far the best...simply can't believe how it drives :)
